From 4-6th September 2015 Morges will host almost 300 French and English speaking writers. Established literary stars and new writers, essayists, poets and translators, authors of crime fiction, travel writing and books for children will give talks, readings and round table discussions. After the phenomenal success of the 2014 festival, which attracted more than 40,000 visitors, this year’s event promises to be even more stimulating.
In its 6th year, the festival takes place in Morges, a picturesque old town on the shore of the Lake Geneva with a view over the Alps, and not far from Lausanne and Geneva. With a selection of cafes, restaurants, and historical buildings Morges is a lovely place to visit and spend some time.
The selection of events can be found in the sections entitled: English Programm, Confessionals and English Cruises. More information concerning all of our program will follow during the summer on these pages.
Come and join us by the lakeside in Morges!
Entry is free of charge apart from cruises and films.
Easy access to Morges by train from Geneva and Lausanne, by car by autoroute A1 or by a festival boat from Geneva on Sunday.
